Michael comes to Cornerstone Executive Search Group with 27+ years of experience in the Hospitality industry. After attending Culinary Arts School and working in restaurants during High School he then joined the Navy. He served as an Officers Mess Senior Watch Captain on board the Super Carrier John F. Kennedy traveling to Spain, France, Israel, Turkey, Italy and many other destinations. While serving Michael was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal (highest medal awarded to enlisted personnel). After his honorable discharge in 1987 he started his Management career with Pizza Hut then moved onto Sbarro the Italian Eatery where he started as an Assistant Manager and worked to Director of Operations helping them grow from 340 units to well over 900 units in his 11+ year tenure. Michael has worked in full service, QSR, Hotel, and Cafeteria style dinning, all mid to high-volume establishments, in different capacities from GM to Director of Operations and Director of Franchise Operations. During that time Michael had recruited, hired, and trained 100's of employees, Managers and Directors - some of who have moved on to VP and above.

Michael specializes in the hospitality industry including Full Service, QSR, Fine Dining, Hotels and Resorts, Contract Feeding and more. He is actively seeking candidates for the following positions: COO, CEO, CFO, SVP, VP, Director of Operations, General Manager, Assistant Manager, Restaurant Manager and other executive positions in the restaurant and hospitality industry.

Michael has been married for over 13 years, and he has 2 Sons and a Daughter. Family is very important to Michael and he brings that philosophy to work everyday. He pours his high energy, passion for life and passion for the industry into every search. ”When I work with a client, I become part of their team”. With 27 years of experience he brings a wealth of knowledge of the industry.

You have to put in the time and work to locate them. I specialize in finding those high impact players and executives.”
